SYNOPSIS:
Miranda is the beautiful, confident daughter of millionaire Gonzalo San Llorente. After her plans to wed Dr. Fabricio Beltran are derailed by her sister Florencia, she turns her attentions to Alejandro Luque, a sworn enemy of Gonzalo, whom he believes killed his father. But when Alejandro meets Miranda, his desire for her overwhelms his desire for revenge. The love/hate relationship that develops between them will be a source of both passion and pain, as forces around them plot to ruin the two lovers, along with the entire San Llorente family!

Miranda and Alejandro must overcome the obstacles in their path, and learn that the only way to heal the wounds of love is to first allow oneself to be wounded.
