This is the first telenovela to be filmed entirely on location in the striking city of Acapulco, showcasing in each scene the majestic beauty of this famed seaport. SYNOPSIS:
David Montalvo is a successful Acapulco businessman and his father's only heir. This has aroused the envy of his half-brother, Marcelo de Maris. Assuming David's identity, Marcelo marries Lorena, a beautiful woman from Zihuatanejo, and arranges for David to die in a helicopter crash, after which Lorena will inherit his fortune. Marcelo then intends to marry the rich widow under his real name. But David not only survives the crash, he meets and falls in love with Lorena, unleashing a vicious rivalry between the two men -- for money, for power, and for Lorena's heart.
