Coca-Cola reveals details around new promotion celebrating mega-hit ‘La Fea Mas Bella’


Los Angeles, CA--(HISPANIC PR WIRE – PRNewswire)--March 10, 2008--Coca-Cola is once again making the dreams of telenovela fans come true. The Company recently rolled out the red carpet for winners of The Coca-Cola Telenovela Club promotion and announced plans for the program’s next phase.
This past weekend, 20 Telenova Club sweepstakes winners and their guests from across the country were treated to an all-expense paid, star-studded getaway to Los Angeles. The weekend’s highlight included a red carpet, Hollywood-style premiere party at the famous Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, where they met and chatted with telenovela legends Susana Gonzalez and Cesar Evora.

Coca-Cola also revealed details of the third phase of the Telenovela Club consumer promotion. Scheduled to kick off March 11, it will celebrate the novela “La Fea Mas Bella.” Angelica Maria, who played Julieta Solís de Padilla in the novela, will be featured in the advertising and promotions. Consumers will be able to redeem My Coke Rewards (Mis Premios Coca-Cola) points for a variety of prizes, including costumes and accessories such as the glasses worn on the novela by “Lety,” the character played by Anglelica Vale, Angelica Maria’s real-life daughter. Angelica Maria’s character, Doña Julieta, has also created a recipe book as part of the promotion that is exclusive for fans of the Coca-Cola Telenovela Club.

In addition, participants will have another chance to enter a sweepstakes to meet Angelica Maria and Angelica Vale in another star-studded event hosted by Coca-Cola.
