Holiday offerings include gift labels and seasonal dessert
Fort Worth, TX--(HISPANIC PR WIRE)--December 4, 2007--This Christmas season, Bimbo introduces two new activities that will allow consumers to bring the Holidays home. The first is an in-pack promotion of eight different Christmas gift labels delivered inside five varieties of Bimbo sweet baked goods. The second is an increase in the number of Panetton fruit cakes made available to consumers who long for the holiday Hispanic flavors.
“We are very excited about this holiday season,” said Juan Miguel Esaa, brand manager for Bimbo in the U.S. “This year we not only wanted to give our sweet breads holiday makeovers, we wanted to include a few special gifts for our loyal consumers.”
Included in the in-pack Christmas gift label promotion will be Donas, Chocolate and Vanilla Conchas, Mantecadas Vanilla, Panqué (Nuez, Casero, Mármol, and Pasas), and Bimbuñuelos. With eight different Christmas gift labels in all, the holiday breads, with gift labels, will remain in-stores until December 25, 2007.
This Christmas season, Hispanic consumers also reported a growing demand for Christmas desserts made from their home land. Hearing this request, Bimbo is increasing the import orders for fruit-filled Panettone. The delicious Christmas breads will be in-stores not only through the Christmas season, but will stay on shelves into the New Year, or until supplies last.
Throughout the holiday season, Bimbo will be running special promotional campaigns to thank consumers for their loyalty. These campaigns will be initiated through the use of Point-of-Sale Displays and Radio Advertisement campaigns.
“The holiday season is about family and being with your loved ones,” continued Esaa. “Over the years, our consumers have been very loyal bringing us into their homes with their families. So this year, we want them to know that we are thinking of them and we wish them all a happy and healthy holiday season.”
