ADVISORY for September 29
Aeromexico and The Mexico Tourism Board are hosting a reception and dinner for the travel community to celebrate and promote Mexico and Aeromexico’s service between Phoenix and Mexico City on Friday, September 29, at 7:00 p.m. at the Tradiciones Restaurant, 1602 E. Roosevelt St.
The traditional Baile Folklorico de Mexico will perform at the event.
Hosting for Aeromexico will be Gabriella Cavalheiro, Regional Manager West Coast, and Doug DeRhodes, District Manager Phoenix.
Also attending will be Alexis Ruffino of the Arizona-Mexico Commission, Harry Garewal, President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Maria Elena Singh from the Consulate of Mexico in Phoenix, and other community representatives.
Media are invited and interviews are available with any of the officials.
Aeromexico’s new daily nonstop service between Phoenix and Mexico City begins Oct. 2. The flight will depart Phoenix daily at 2:00 p.m. with the return from Mexico City each day at 11:30 a.m. The non-stop flight supplements Aeromexico’s current direct and connecting service to Mexico City via Guadalajara or Hermosillo.
