San Juan, Puerto Rico--(HISPANIC PR WIRE)--September 1, 2006--Spanish Broadcasting System Puerto Rico, a subsidiary of Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS), and the Government of Puerto Rico will welcome newly crowned Miss Universe 2006, Zuleyka Rivera, back home to Puerto Rico this Monday, September 4th in a celebration fit a Queen! As announced by the Government of Puerto Rico on August 23, 2006, Spanish Broadcasting System Puerto Rico was selected to organize this spectacular evening.
Festivities honoring the most beautiful woman in world will be held at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. Renowned and popular Puerto Rican born Latin singer and actor, Carlos Ponce will host the gala.
“The government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the private sector has united to give Miss Universe 2006, Zuleyka Rivera, a warm welcome. Her triumph on the world stage is also a triumph for Puerto Rico,” said Secretary of State for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Mr. Fernando Bonilla. Mr. Bonilla also thanked SBS for all the help offered by the media consortium in welcoming the world’s beauty queen to her native island.

The gala roaster of stars that will thrill audiences at the Coliseum includes: Victor Manuelle, Limite 21, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Black Guayaba, Giselle, Jeremias, and the popular reggaeton duo, Rakim and Ken Y.
