Miami, FL--(HISPANIC PR WIRE)--February 14, 2006--Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE:UVN), the nation’s leading Spanish-language media company, today announced the appointment of Gary Stone to President and Chief Operating Officer of Univision Radio, the largest Spanish-language radio broadcaster in the United States. Since February 2001, Stone has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Univision Radio and its predecessor, Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation.

Prior to his appointment to SVP/COO in 2001, Stone served two years as Vice President/General Manager of the company’s Los Angeles radio stations. Prior to overseeing the Los Angeles market, Stone was General Manager of the Houston stations for twelve years. Stone, who has been in radio for 37 years, began his broadcasting career in 1969 as a Disc Jockey. He has subsequently excelled in numerous roles including: Local Sales Manager, General Sales Manager and General Manager.
