WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- On the evening of Monday, September 1, 2008, The Hispanic Leadership Fund, in association with the Hispanic Alliance for Prosperity Institute and The Latino Coalition, will host the Fiesta Americana Concert with musical performances by Reggaeton star Daddy Yankee & Pop Artist Maxine Lausell. The concert will be held at Myth Nightclub in St. Paul, MN, with 3000 expected attendees, including Convention Delegates and special guests.
This event showcases today's youth and Hispanic community and will demonstrate a clear message of support for key issues such as tough but fair immigration reform, free trade in the Americas and prosperity through ownership. The blockbuster event will highlight the McCain/Obama policy differences on these issues and kick off Convention week in Minneapolis-Saint Paul in great style.

Headline Artist Daddy Yankee, chosen by TIME magazine as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World" is a rising star in Reggaeton, a music genre he helped to create. In 2008, he was awarded Latin Record of the Year and Urban Record of the Year.
