La Agencia de Orci Wins Three Coveted Public Relations Society of America PRism Awards in Los Angeles

Hispanic agency wins three awards for Best Hispanic Campaign, Audio/Visual Presentation and Pro Bono Work

Los Angeles, CA--(HISPANIC PR WIRE)--November 20, 2006--La Agencia de Orcí won three prestigious PRism awards from the Public Relations Society of America, Los Angeles Chapter, for outstanding work in the public relations field at its annual awards dinner in Hollywood, Calif.

“From working with California First Lady Maria Shriver to introducing a new, innovative educational campaign on behalf of Verizon Communications, Orci Public Relations achievements is credited through an all-agency effort,” said Stephen Chavez, vice president for La Agencia de Orci’s public relations division.

La Agencia de Orci received PRism awards for the following categories:

-- Diversity, Hispanic Campaign: Implemented a national media and community relations safety Internet campaign for “Día del Niño” on behalf of Verizon Communications. Campaign also included creative work for all collateral materials.

-- Pro-Bono: Executed a media relations campaign on behalf of California First Lady Maria Shriver for the unveiling of the exhibition, “Latinas: The Spirit of California.” Pro-bono work included the branding and designing of the program’s logo, development of collateral materials and orchestration of a press conference with California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

-- Audio Visual: With more than half a million foster care children in the U.S., Orci PR was charged with developing an audio visual piece to increase the number of bilingual, Hispanic volunteers that advocate for Latino foster care children in the judiciary system.
