Bill Gato to Highlight Important Strategies of Print Industry at NAHP 2006 Chicago Ad Summit
Washington, DC--(The Hispanic PR Monitor)--July 12, 2006--The National Association of Hispanic Publications, Inc. (NAHP, Inc) is gearing up for its 2006 Ad Summit in Chicago from August 24 -25 at the Allegro Hotel with knowledgeable entrepreneurs of the print industry who will participate in panels, lead discussions and moderate seminars.
Moderators will include Bill Gato, the President and a partner of Hispanic Digital Network, INC (HDN). Gato’s career in communications has spanned over 16 years and has included areas such as print journalism, radio and advertising. Gato is the recipient of five awards for South Florida Achievement in Radio, was an active contributor to the Miami Herald’s Pulitzer Prize winning coverage of Hurricane Andrew in 1993, and received the NAHJ’s Student Journalist of the Year Award in 1990. Gato will be participating in a panel discussion on the importance of electronic media in the publication industry. “Creating Alliances: Hispanic Publications with Hispanic Electronic Media and New Media” will be held on Friday, August 25 at 9:00 a.m.
The focus of the Ad Summit is to highlight the changes taking place in the Hispanic print industry in the U.S. by revealing trends, research, as well as case studies of effective ad campaigns through Hispanic print.
