Univision Names David Loving Vice President and General Manager, Univision Station KWEX and TeleFutura Station KNIC in San Antonio
NEW YORK, NY--(The Hispanic PR Monitor)--January, 2006--Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE:UVN), the leading Spanish-language media company in the United States, announced that David Loving, who currently serves as vice president and general manager of Austin stations KAKW and KBVO, will become vice president and general manager of Univision and TeleFutura San Antonio stations, KWEX and KNIC, effective immediately. In this position, he will oversee all aspects of operation at both the Univision and TeleFutura stations, including sales, news, marketing, online and community outreach. Loving will relocate to San Antonio and will continue to report to Michael D. Wortsman, President of the Univision Television Group.

Loving’s career in Spanish-language media began in San Antonio, where he served as an account executive for KXTN/KROM/KCOR from 1994-1998. He became the national sales manager for KWEX, Univision’s San Antonio television station, in 1998. In November 2002, he became general sales manager for the start-up owned and operated Univision and TeleFutura stations in Austin, where he was promoted to vice president and general manager in 2004. |
