Austin, TX--(Hispanic PR Wire)--October 1, 2007--Latinos undisputedly are the largest minority in the United States, and their influence is rapidly increasing at every level of society. This has been clearly noted during the campaigning and debates for the upcoming presidential primaries.

On Hispanic Values: “for centuries, Hispanics have been part of the fabric of our nation. So when we talk about Hispanic values, we are in fact talking about American values.”

On Cultural Differences: “I think that many Hispanics are also much more aware than non-Hispanics of the value of speaking more than one language.”

What she admires the most about Latino culture: “…their hard work and devotion to eachother.”

Regarding her Latino outreach efforts: “I’m very proud that my campaign was the first to create a page in a bilingual social networking site.”

On Immigrant Hispanic Professionals: “Many foreign-born Hispanic professionals come here to work and eventually become citizens and make enormous contributions to our nation. They bring with them a different perspective of the world. They see business opportunities where others might not see them, and they are driven and determined to seize them.”
