Several homes got surprise visits during their events. Amongst the most emotional was Los Angeles mom, Deisy Gramajo’s party. “I had invited 13 friends and their children when suddenly someone knocked at my patio door. My number one idol, singer Rogelio Martínez, was standing there with his wife Ninette and their two girls carrying boxes full of gifts. We started to scream, to hug him and some of my friends even cried. We all love Rogelio, and had seen him before, but from faraway in his concerts. My friends went wild, hugging him, taking pictures: I will never forget this day. Todobebé was generous enough with the wonderful gifts from the sponsors, but bringing Rogelio Martinez to my house… that was over the top!!! Todobebé made my dream come true, and gave my friends the sweetest surprise. At the same time, tears of joy invaded a small home in Miami. Laura García remembers: “The cameras walked in with my favorite hosts, Jeannette and El Gato who handed me a letter I had sent them months ago stating that my mother in Venezuela didn’t know my 3 children because of our financial struggles. It has been the happiest day of my whole life! Everyone was crying and clapping! Suddenly, like magic, the paper ripped and my father popped out from the box crying. We hugged forever! My husband and everyone joined us. It was magical. Elizabeth Feliz, NY mom and host of ¡Viva la Familia Todobebé! Earlier that day, Leiny Cabrera, felt her 7 month pregnant belly started to leap in joy when Karen Martinez walked into her Bronx apartment. “The baby moved when I saw her. Not even in my wildest dream I could pray to have Israel de la Palma and Toros Band in my house. Those guys are the coolest, they sang for me, they were so cariñosos and down to earth.
