Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute to Host Immigration Reform Briefing
Senator John McCain, Senator Mel Martinez and Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart to speak at event

The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) is hosting a CHLI Altria Congressional Briefing titled: “Immigration Reform: Where do we go from here?” which will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2006 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the U.S. Capitol. (Program promptly starts at 8:30 am).

This first in a series of public policy briefings will provide an open forum for discussion on the current immigration proposals being debated in Congress.

Senator John McCain (Ariz.) and Senator Mel Martinez (Fla.) will be the keynote speakers, and Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart will give remarks. Their remarks will be followed by a panel discussion.
