CHICAGO, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- Alberto Minzer will lecture and autograph his inspirational book, Boys Don't Cry: MEN DO at Cigar King located at 8016 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie, IL on Friday, October 23, 2009, at 6:30PM. Author/Psychotherapist Minzer was born in South America where he lived for the first ten years of his life. He speaks both Spanish and English. Jeffery Leving who wrote the introduction to the book will also lecture at the event.

Every man has a dream to fulfill. But many men are thwarted with obstacles and fail to make their dreams reality. We give up our dreams too easily, stopping our personal growth. This powerful book will tell you what can be done.

In this heart-grabbing book, Alberto moves us to dream and become the man we've always hoped of becoming. It is a wake-up call for men and those who care about them. The problem is that we haven't been taught how to create lives of authenticity. What is missing is the ability to connect with full emotional intimacy.

With a poignant introduction by Fathers' Rights Attorney Jeffery Leving of the Law Offices of Jeffery Leving (founder of dadsrights.com), the book dispels myths about true masculinity and brings a fresh, clear understanding about what it means to be a real man and a father. "Without emotional intimacy, men aren't fully alive. Alberto takes us deep into the psyche of the man and moves your heart to a new level of understanding about what men go through when living separate, disconnected lives," says co-presenter, Dr. Leving.

"What a tragedy it is that so many men are missing so much. The motivation is that someday, all men will be able to live authentic lives full of joy and intimate connections. The vision is that someday our boys will grow into the men they want to be, living out the deepest longings of their hearts," commented Alberto.

THIS GROUNDBREAKING BOOK IS WRITTEN IN SPANISH AND PUBLISHED in conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month.
