    LOS ANGELES, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- Fox Sports en Espanol and Time Warner Cable recently crowned the winners of the second-annual Manny Ramirez Look-alike contest at the Viva Los Dodgers celebration, which took place before a recent game against the San Diego Padres.

 

    Fans were invited to enter the contest, attend the game dressed as Ramirez and appear before a panel of judges.  The grand prize winner, Jose Jesus Velasquez, received an opportunity to take a photo with Manny Ramirez on-field during batting practice, four Baseline Box Club-level tickets, one parking pass for the Dodgers game on October 4th against the Colorado Rockies, a Dodgers jersey, Dodgers poster, and bobble head doll of Ramirez. The runner-up received a Dodgers jersey, four Loge-level tickets, and one parking pass for an upcoming game.

 

    "This contest provides a fun and interactive way to engage avid sports fans, and honor one of baseball's most exciting players with highest form of flattery: imitation," said David Sternberg, General Manager of Fox Sports en Espanol.

 

    The Viva Los Dodgers community festival included live music from Ranchera singer Paquita La Del Barrio, Latin pop singer-songwriter Luz Rios, and Mariachi Juvenil Mi Mexico de Francisco Rubio. Viva Los Dodgers also included a special performance by Mexico City-based Latin electronic artist Moenia. Additional elements such as family-friendly interactive areas and Autograph Alley were part of the festivities.
