WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- Bienvenido! The National Aquarium in Washington, D.C. celebrates its first annual Latino Heritage Day on Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In conjunction with Latino Heritage Month, The Aquarium's special day will highlight the culture, traditions, art and history of Latin American countries.

Aquatic treasures from South American waters will serve as a backdrop to this special day at the Aquarium. Children will enjoy Spanish story time and Latino craft making throughout the day. There will also be a special Argentine Tango by Buenos Aires native and tango master Carina Rosario. The day will conclude with a special piranha feeding with Spanish translation.

September 20th Latino Heritage Day Details:

All DAY -- Crafts and Scavenger Hunt handout

1:20 pm -- Argentine Tango by Carina Rosario Losano, Official Instructor at the Embassy of Argentina and Representative of the Academia Nacional del Tango of Argentina

2:00 pm -- Piranha feeding & education with Spanish translation
