PHILADELPHIA, June 30 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- The Spanish Beisbol Network (SBN) is proud to announce affiliate relationships with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, New York Yankees and Texas Rangers. The new teams expand the SBN footprint within the MLB with a combined market reach of over 17 million Hispanics. In addition, SBN has launched a new Spanish-language baseball website for fans at http://www.beisbol.net .
The addition of the new teams allows SBN to package integrated, multi-market sponsorships to brands interested in reaching the growing Hispanic demographic. In addition to the Spanish-language broadcasts of the games with local radio partners, the broadcasts are available on XM and MLB.com.
The new SBN website is geared towards all Hispanic baseball fans looking to get the latest news about Latino baseball players, coaches, and MLB teams. Some of the website's features include exclusive articles and photos, as well as audio and video interviews with the league's top Hispanic players, and weekly fan opinion poll and blogs -- all in Spanish.
The website features original articles written by well-known baseball experts, including Amaury Pi-Gonzalez and Manolo Hernandez-Douen, the new voices of the Oakland Athletics, as well as Phillies fan favorite Danny Martinez. On the site, fans have the ability to blog with their favorite SBN writers and even upload favorite articles onto their personal Facebook, MySpace, and Hi5 pages. "No other site gives visitors such a unique perspective on these teams and offers it to Spanish-speaking fans in their own language," says Bill Kulik, SBN President.
