BLOOMINGTON, Ill., April 24 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- Former Major League Baseball(R) great and league MVP, Rod Carew is teaming up with State Farm at the Fiesta del Jonrón Tour during the 2009 AT&T Fiesta Broadway celebration. Fiesta del Jonron is a fully interactive fan experience that will be part of the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in the country. Over 500,000 Latinos will attend the celebration and have the opportunity to meet the Major League great.
In addition to the appearance of the 1977 American League MVP and 18-time All-Star, the State Farm Fiesta del Jonron Tour will include the Latino Tribute Trailer, a home run competition, "Buzz vehicle", personalized baseball cards, and the chance to win numerous prizes. This tour will bring families who share a love for America's favorite pastime together unlike ever before.

After kicking off the Tour in Los Angeles, Fiesta del Jonron will touring the country and making stops at some of the premier Hispanic festivals and celebrations in the country. Upcoming events include:
- May 2 and 3 - Cinco de Mayo, Phoenix, Ariz.
- May 2 through May 5 - Cinco de Mayo, Portland, Ore.
- May 9 and 10 - Cinco de Mayo, Denver, Colo.
- May 9 through May 12 - Fiesta KC, Kansas City, Mo.
- May 23 and May 24 - Carnival San Francisco, San Francisco, Calif.
