Today Yahoo! En Espanol invites its community of users to explore clean energy alternatives and become more environmentally responsible. To help with this initiative, the company has launched the following:
-- In-depth news site: Yahoo! En Espanol is featuring articles and videos related to Earth Day and the environment on a special coverage page on its news site (http://espanol.news.yahoo.com/indepth/id_ecologico.html) geared to help users stay on top of the latest green news and trends.
-- Global action: Yahoo! En Espanol will join 12 countries around the world, including Argentina and Mexico, which will be changing their front page logo to celebrate Earth Day. Many of those logos will link to locally relevant pages that highlight "Earth Day" and "green" information.
-- Yahoo! Respuestas: To further generate awareness of environmental issues and motivate people to take action, Yahoo! Answers has posted questions from international artist Juanes and the World Wildlife Fund so that users can post their answers and share solutions.
