One Year Out: Census Partners Gather for National Kick-Off
2010 Census National Partners Meet in Nation's Capital for Exclusive Briefing

WASHINGTON, March 26 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- The following is being issued by the U.S. Census Bureau:

What: Nearly 250 national partners from around the country will join the U.S. Census Bureau for an exclusive 2010 Census briefing to launch outreach efforts as part of the "one-year-out" activities. The 2010 Census Partnership Program is designed to bring a familiar face to Census activities. The program brings national, regional and local governments, businesses and nonprofit organizations together to raise awareness of, and encourage participation in, the 2010 Census. These voluntary partners are trusted voices within their organizations and communities, and can encourage everyone to take part in the 2010 count.

When: Monday, March 30, 9 a.m. to noon (EDT)
