MIAMI, March 4 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- The well-known Cuban humorist Jose Carlos Perez Cordova, Carlucho, made public his union to GenTV network yesterday. Carlucho was host of the television program Cosa Nostra on America Teve (channel 41) but on Monday announced his departure during one of the above-mentioned program's on-air segments. Carlucho confirmed that he would be back soon on the screens of another station during his announcement. He will be the new host of the primetime program 'Clasificado R' on GenTV.

Carlucho's new home, GenTV Channel 8 in Miami, belongs to the Caracol Television group, one of the most important television networks in Latin America. The producer of 'Clasificado R', Ramon Alvarez, shared his excitement upon confirmation that the recognized Carlucho would be the conductor of the program following Omar Moynelo's exit. Moynelo was the program's host until last week.

"It was unfortunate that Omar Moynelo could not continue with the production, but today I am very happy that Carlucho is with us. He is very talented and a great acquisition for 'Clasificado R'," reaffirmed Mr. Alvarez.

'Clasificado R', a program with the latest and most extravagant news, politics and humor will continue to air Monday through Friday live from 10 to 11 at night. Carlucho may be seen as the program's host as of this upcoming Monday, March 9.
