PEMBROKE PINES, Fla., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Cruise Executives from the 11 Member Lines of the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) are preparing for the 15th Annual FCCA Gala Dinner and Entertainment Extravaganza, on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the elegant Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami Beach.
This premier social event, taking place during the week of Cruise Shipping Miami, will have a different look as years past with a few surprises in store. More than 60 of the cruise industry's top executives are planning to make the evening yours as they host tables for the evening. The Gala offers the opportunity for developing strong cooperative relationships between the cruise industry and our destination partners.
100% of the proceeds from the Gala will benefit the FCCA Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization created in 1993 to fund humanitarian causes in the Caribbean and Latin America. Numerous worthy projects receive funding each year through the FCCA Foundation, currently, the FCCA Holiday Gift Project is making a difference in the lives of over 6,000 under-privileged children throughout the Caribbean and Latin American Region.

The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) is a trade association composed of 11 Member Lines: Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Costa Cruise Lines, Cunard Line, Disney Cruise Line, Holland America Line, MSC Cruises (USA) Inc., Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Royal Caribbean International. It was created in 1972 by the Member Lines operating more than 100 vessels in Florida, Caribbean and Latin American waters, in order to discuss and exchange views on issues relating to: legislation, tourism development, ports, safety, security and other cruise industry issues.
