MIAMI, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- With only a few hours left before elections polls close, attendees to the LISTA conference got insight into the Obama and McCain technology priorities during the "The Making of a Tech President" town hall forum broadcast live on HITN TV. The representatives and participating panelists discussed key Latino technology needs in schools, Hispanic-owned businesses, and technology jobs.

Obama Technology Advisor Daniel Sepulveda and Florida State Representative Marcelo Llorente representing the McCain campaign provided attendees with very different outlooks on which candidate will be a better President. Both, however, agreed that producing a skilled science and engineering workforce from the nation's fastest and largest growing population will help the U.S. compete in a global economy.

The campaign representatives and participating panelists were also given an opportunity to watch a special presentation by HITN TV highlighting Latino youth in the Bronx, NY and the Dominican Republic share their stories living digital divide affect them in their communities.
