MLS ¡Futbolito! Kicks Off Saturday in San Jose
Players, Spectators Chance To Win $100,000 Kick

WHAT:
MLS Futbolito is Major League Soccer’s first-ever National Hispanic 4v4 amateur soccer tournament. More than just a soccer competition, MLS ¡Futbolito! will offer a family festival featuring music, food and MLS player appearances. Staged as an all-day event in nine of 10 MLS markets plus Houston, Texas, the national MLS ¡Futbolito! tour kicks off on August 9 in San Jose. Registration fee is $150/team, 4-7 players per team. Elite division competes for $3500 in cash price, and one player or spectator will be randomly selected to shoot on goal to win $100,000!
Scheduled player appearances by Ramiro Corrales, Arturo Alvarez and Brian Mullen. Each competitor gets a free ticket to an Earthquakes game, a free event shirt, and gifts from sponsors. Other opportunities include a chance to win a DVD player and tickets to the upcoming Mexican National Team game this November in the Bay Area.
