Yahoo! Telemundo Revamps Autos Site
Partnership with Cars.com and Conduciendo.com puts users in the driver’s seat with richer content and more selling and purchasing options

Miami, FL--(HISPANIC PR WIRE - PRNewswire)--March 13, 2008--Yahoo! Telemundo today announced the re-launch of its Autos site (http://www.yahootelemundo.com/autos) which now boasts richer and more engaging content provided by new partners Cars.com and Conduciendo.com.

Through the partnership with Cars.com, users can now search for new or used vehicles by city and also compare the characteristics, specifications and security features of up to four vehicles on the same page to help them choose the right one. Also, the “Sell it Yourself” program available through Cars.com allows those looking to sell to place a virtual “for sale” sign on their car, making it visible to the millions of weekly visitors.

Furthermore, the new Yahoo! Telemundo Autos arms and delights users with videos and articles on 2008 and 2009 models provided by Conduciendo.com. Users can view a full gallery of autos from luxury sports cars to top-selling sedans, SUVs and minivans even before they hit their local dealer.

Also, for those who are not ready to buy just yet, but are exploring their options, Yahoo! Telemundo Autos continues to offer a full catalog of more than 55 car manufacturers and thousands of models sold in the U.S. It also features community elements like Yahoo! Telemundo Respuestas, where users can ask and answer questions on any auto-related topic – from advice on maintaining their car to recommendations on where to get the best after market parts and more.

The revamped autos site will be promoted throughout yahootelemundo.com and will also be showcased on the air in Telemundo programs “Nítido” and “Descontrol,” which target a 16 to 24 age demographic.

“The new Yahoo! Telemundo Autos site offers users a fun, interactive way to peruse and even purchase their favorite cars – it’s also a place where users can share their knowledge and experiences and interact with other users who share the same interests and affinity,” said Borja Perez, alliance leader, Yahoo! Telemundo.

For users who want to get deeper into the automotive world, the site will highlight racing news from around the world with content from Yahoo! Telemundo Deportes and will continue to provide the latest industry news, perspectives and reviews from Motor Trend en Español.
